Celebrate Water 2020
Join us on September 17th to celebrate our 25th anniversary and commemorate another successful year of CELP's work advocating for Washington's rivers and streams. This year, we will be presenting Professor Bob Anderson with the Ralph W. Johnson Water Hero Award for his career as Director of the Native American Law Center, his work with Tribes throughout Washington and the United States consulting on water and natural resource issues, his dedication as an educator, and his advocacy for Native American law students. Bob Anderson's work embodies the connection between water and Indian Law and the vision of our founder Ralph W. Johnson.
We will also be hosting a pre-reception Continuing Legal Education (CLE) workshop.

The Center for Environmental Law & Policy is a statewide organization whose mission is to protect, preserve and restore Washingtons waters through education, policy reform, agency advocacy, and public interest litigation. Indeed, with climate change reducing our glaciers and threatening our groundwater supply and a growing population spurring more development, water is becoming increasingly scarce in Washington. That shortage makes CELP's work of promoting sustainable use of our water resources more imperative than ever. We hope you can join us on June 18th, and raise much-needed funds for CELP's important work in Washington!
**COVID-19 Celebrate Water has been postponed from our original June 18th event due to COVID-19. We are now hosting our annual Celebrate Water fundraiser on September 17th. We are excited to come together and celebrate with our community.
