Shakefest 2020

SHAKEFEST IS BACK! In its 15th year, no matter what size or what's on, you'll be guaranteed to have an amazingly cultural and creative experience every year.

Once again at Charleville Castle, Tullamore, we are offering some energetic and creative kids workshops and our usual colourful and eclectic Evening Hafla of cultural entertainment on Saturday, June 6th and Sunday, June 7th!

Here's our initial programme for Saturday:

GRAND BALLROOM - all ages

2pm - Introduction to Bollywood

3:15pm - Intro to Circus Props and Dance Ribbons

4:30pm - Dance Games

*** each workshop has max. capacity each of 15 so book ASAP to avoid disappointment!

THE MORNING ROOM

12-1:30pm MEGHANA RAO -Indian Classical General Level
2-3:30PM - CHANDANI - Expression on the Dance Floor for duos and groups - General Level

4-5:30pm - MEGHANA RAO - Indian Classical Dance (Intermediate Level- Bharatanatyam)

5:30pm DINNER BREAK (selection of sandwiches, chips, hot dogs, drinks available for purchase)

7pm - Evening Cultural Hafla feat. kids dance groups, Oriental and Middle Eastern dance, International Guest Instructor/Performers Irina Popova and Patricia Zarnovican

8:30pm - Indian Music

There will be a few market stalls in the main hallway for your perusal and kids facepainting from 1pm!
