Motivational Interviewing Training
In partnership with Confluence Health & Room One, Beth Wierman Rubin, a clinical social worker and substance use disorder professional in Seattle, will facilitate this 2-day Motivational Interviewing training at the Aero Methow classroom.
Drawing upon elements of Motivational Interviewing (MI), an evidence-based communication style about change, this highly interactive 2 day training provides participants the opportunity to learn about and practice the spirit, skills, and strategies of MI. Designed for participants working in a variety of health care and social service settings, this training is suited for various skill levels and familiarity with Motivational Interviewing. Learning activities include: demonstration, real play/role play, small group exercises, and facilitated discussion.
