LOS ANGELES, CA (August 12, 2013) Managing Director John Jack Rodgers announced today that The Stella Adler Academy has formed a Lab Theater and the opening production Waiting For Godot will be directed by Milton Justice. The Lab Theater will combine current and former students of the Academy. The current production features Chris Petrovski (films in the Toronto and Shanghai Film Festivals, as well as co-starring in Coldwater, winner of Grand Jury prize as Las Vegas Film Festival), Blake Lewis (Los Angeles revival of Beirut and critic's choice Machu Picchu, Texas), Alec Whaite (star of La Distancia Mas Larga, the Venezuelan entry in the Montreal Film Festival) and Akimi Jai (The Magic School Bus, Pillars of Freedom).
WAITING FOR GODOT is presented by the Stella Adler Lab Theatre, and is produced by Rochelle Rossman. The Lab Theater is headed by Managing Director John Jack Rodgers.
WAITING FOR GODOT plays at the Stella Adler-Los Angeles Theatre, 6773 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood from September 20th October 13th, with the official press opening on Friday, September 20th.
