Watercolor with Pen and Ink

Enjoy blending media in this watercolor, pen and ink class where loose and lively meets defined design. Though we will be painting a specific composition, advanced and intermediate painters may choose to work on their own composition. All levels are welcome, the demonstration is designed for beginners-intermediate levels. Ages 14+

Dana Childs seeks to inspire painters as well as inform them. She works to gently encourage students, while offering constructive suggestions based upon solid technique and artistic concepts. Childs loose and interpretive style is infectious and will spark the artist within you. She has developed a strong sense for reading her students after 20+ years of teaching watercolor painting and other forms of media. You can learn more and view her art at www.dlauren.net

Please note our Cancellation Policy: Preregistration is required for all classes including payment in full. A full refund is available for cancellations up to 7 days before class, half refund 2-7 days before class. No refund within 48 hours of class. If there is a waiting list or you can find someone to fill your spot, we will offer a full refund minus paypal fees.

COVID-19 Safety protocol: For the safety of teachers as well as students, we will be requiring anyone in the studio taking classes or shopping, to wear masks and keep their hands clean. Students can go outside to take breaks and get fresh air during class, but must be masked at all times inside the studio. If you anticipate this being too cumbersome please wait to register for a class at a later date when these restrictions are lifted. Classes will be limited to six students as we ease into reopening. Studio and common tools will be sanitized after each workshop.
