Thematic selections interspersed within the setting of five mass movements in various styles by four composers represent a musical journey through light and fire. In Kyrie, we ask for mercy and seek hope through a Celtic chant. Gloria celebrates life; In Credo, we pave our way through life with faith. In the fourth and fifth movements, Sanctus and Agnus Dei, we care for each other and plead for one's forgiveness.
This musical journey binds life in a circle by seeking a flame.
The flame that gives light and life eventually becomes a symbol of hope.
In our hands, light and flame expel darkness.
Every one of us is a small light; all of us become a firm light.
Fight darkness and fight for the genesis of light!
