Jillian Laurain has had a very successful career as a leading opera singer and musical theater performer both in the US and Europe. She has performed in all the major clubs here in NYC receiving the prestigious BackStage Bistro Award for Outstanding Vocalist. Kevin Scott Hall from BistroAwards.com wrote: Young talent should learn from this master.
"Jillian Laurain carried us to fabulous heights with her voices passionate depth of emotion and tone." Chris Struck, Cabaret Scenes "Jillian Laurain is a consumate performer in the style of which it can be said, they don't make em like that anymore." Marilyn Lester, Theater Pizzaz "This opera trained singer has stratospheric vocals yet possesses the common touch." Kevin Scot Hall, BistroAwards.com "A rare blend: A beautiful classically trained voice and classic supper-club elegance, meshed with perceptive interpretations, a flare for the dramatic, and the ability to be equally persuasive whether singing with exquisite delicacy or getting down and wailing."
