Playin' Chicken at Johnny's Speakeasy
Playin' Chicken is a group of Ann Arbor area music veterans from Footloose, Five Guys Named Moe, Mulligan Stew, Bill Bynum and Company, The Cellar Cats, Treetown Swingtette, and more, featuring Mike Knight on bass, Bill Connors on guitar and mandolin, Mary Seelhorst on fiddle, and Myron Grant on guitar and harmonica. They share lead and harmony vocal duties playing folk, country, rock, swing, and originals. Good harmonies. Good chops. Good times.
Doors open at 7 pm. Show starts at 8 pm. You are welcome to bring your own beer, wine or spirits to Johnnys.
IMPORTANT NEWS. YOU MUST TAKE THE SHUTTLE TO GET INTO JOHNNYS SPEAKEASY THIS WINTER. Dexter Road is not a pedestrian friendly road
Drop your passengers off at Johnnys where they can secure seats, then drive to Maple Village Shopping Center at Maple & Dexter to pick up the shuttle. Or go directly to the shuttle at Plum Market parking lot..
There will be a car taking people from the Maple Village Shopping Center (The Village Kitchen next to Plum Market) to Johnnys Speakeasy and back after the show.
THE SHUTTLE WILL CARRY A SIGN THAT SAYS SPEAKEASY.
