Circus Contraption's 10th Anniversary Very Scary Blowout Bash
Circus Contraption Presents 10th Anniversary Halloween Bash
Circus Contraption, Seattles premiere traveling one-ring circus, presents its 10th annual Halloween Scary, Sexy Blowout Bash on Friday October 31st. Always on the sinister side of things, Circus Contraption will take it one step further and aim to actually scare the living bejeezus out of you. From the moment that guests enter the haunted warehouse at 3400 Phinney Ave. N in Seattle, they will be chilled by the antics of the Circus Contraption performers and the off-beat sounds of The Circus Contraption Band (A lurid hurdy-gurdy hybrid of Fellini movie soundtracks and Tom Waits The Stranger,) as well as a host of guest performers. Flying aerial demons, ghosts, and the living dead await fright-seekers inside. Doors open at 8pm, show starts at 9pm; 21 and over only; tickets are $25 and will be available at brownpapertickets.com.
Guest performers include Nanda, Portlands incredible Ninja Jugglers and Bob Wayne and the Outlaw Carnies, as well as local performers telling terrifying ghost stories and leading a massive sance.
For ten years, Circus Contraption has been at the forefront of the circus/variety arts community nationally. Most recently Circus Contraption wowed over 4,000 Seattleites with its most ambitious full-length production to date: The SHOW to End All SHOWS, described by the Seattle PI as Champagne circus on a beer budget. The Halloween Scary, Sexy Blowout Bash is louder, faster, and more chilling than any of Circus Contraptions full length productions and is a chance to celebrate ten years of incredible Seattle entertainment with music, acrobatics, puppetry, and plenty of surprises that will both terrify and delight. Guests are encouraged to come in costume for A fantastic and demented evening of entertainment ( Seattle Weekly).
