St Patricks Day - Comedy and Jig!

Comedy and Jig night to celebrate St Patricks Day in a lovely lounge in a cozy bar on the shores of Leith, where many Irish immigrants settled after fleeing the famine, wars, clearances and because, for some, there was a warrant out for their arrest.

And what about the wee snakes ð who were never banished as they were never even in Ireland in the first place - but sure its a great story to tell your Grandweans.

Theyre all here, living, working, attending football games - in the colours of Green and White - whilst singing about Scotland and drink a lot of Guinness and singing on their way home about how they wished they were back home by The Mountains of Mourne even though theyve never been there and even if they could find the place, theyd surely roll down the hill in a drunken stupor and drown where the Mountains Sweep Down to The Sea.

Instead, they make it as far as the chippy on Constitution Street and end up crashing out in the doorway of the old recently closed down Casino crying, Let me in ya barsteward Ive still got a 500 chip here! And waking the next morning in the water of Leith, clutching a Swan ð¦¢ saying, Ive always loved you; lets get married.

Great craic altogether.

Everyone is welcome to join us and celebrate everything Irish despite the fact that St Patrick was a Welsh Man ð,.

So, instead, lets just have a final hooley before the virus eventually kills us all and let us sing about yer auld folks back home. - Aye, the ones who are just along the street, at Bernard Street
