Eventide
The Contemporary Circus & Immersive Arts Center, in collaboration with 3AM Theatre and the Theatre Institute at Sage, are proud to present
EVENTIDE
Eventide follows the story of a young couple in a rough patch fueled by thoughtless patterns and personal misgivings. One late night, in a twilight daze, they find the freedom to relive pivotal moments, face hard truths, and pursue reconciliation, healing, and personal growth. The story begins in the ether and narrows in on an earthly apartment where we find a troubled couple awake despite the late hour. Their disconnection unfolds with the interplay between present interactions and past memories, interior monologues and the unsettling droning of late night television infomercials.

ABOUT 3AM Theatre
3AM is an interdisciplinary company that is the creative endeavor of master performers, Kyle Driggs and Andrea Murillo. They bring their expertise in the dance and circus arts to 3AM where they explore the intersections and boundaries of their art forms.
Independently of one another, Andrea and Kyles work brought them to New York in 2015. Kyle was performing Paramour, Cirque du Soleils Broadway show, while Andrea was headlining in the Off-Broadway hit, Sleep No More. Although they met by chance, their mutual interests and instant connection developed into friendship, collaboration, and ultimately, romantic partnership.
Eventide is produced through The Artist First Program. Artist First is a creation-residency program of the Contemporary Circus and Immersive Arts Center (CCIAC). The program empowers and educates circus artists by placing them in the center of a show-creation experience that takes their creative concept to fruition. CCIAC collaborates with Artist First residents to build their skills for success in creative decision-making, design, budgeting, marketing, fundraising, production, and presentation. Each residency culminates with a fully produced, marketed and presented performance.
