Christie McCarthy is an award-winning songwriter who has opened for Melissa Etheridge, Janis Ian, Neale Donald Walsch and many others. Her shows are always filled with heart, humor and fine musicianship. Her band features Glenn MacPherson on guitar, Tracy Parker on bass, Jon Dryden on keyboards, Kinsha Em on percussion, and Patti Maxine on lap steel. Christies blues-rock anthem Forgiveness is in rotation on KPIG, and Good Times Aaron Carnes writes that Christies subtly complex hooks and lush harmonies reveal a wealth of influences from the realms of folk, Americana and rock n roll.
