THE FEVER
On a visit to a beautiful but tormented place, where the most basic of political struggles is being enacted right outside the window, the narrator of Wallace Shawn's THE FEVER falls ill. Slumped on the floor of a hotel bathroom, the traveller is visited by cherished memories of a privileged past. But as the night wears on, the bathroom floor becomes a battlefield on which an internal struggle wages.
