U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Champion Jamie Laval takes his audience on an exciting musical journey through Scotland, Ireland, and Brittany, evocatively reimagining Gaelic love songs, rustic peasant dances, and recounting mythic tales from the ancient Celtic world.

Recognized throughout the U.S. and Britain as one of the premier performers of traditional Scottish music on the international music scene today, Jamie Laval creates rapt audiences with his passionate, virtuosic performances, uncanny imitation of Highland bagpipes, and engaging stories.

At 6:00 preceeding the concert we will have an all-welcome potlock and a chance to meet and greet the artist. If you would like to arrive early for the potluck, please bring a beverage of your choice and a food item to share.

Following the concert at 9:15, musicians are invited to participate in an open tune session of Scottish and Irish music, so please bring your instruments.
