SVONS March Educational Dinner Program
Title: Rationale for Homologous Recombination Deficiency (HRD) Testing in Select Cancers
Objectives: 1. Understand the molecular biology of the homologous recombination repair (HRR) pathway and how its deficiency (HRD) relates to carcinogenesis 2. Explore the role of PARP inhibition in cancers with HRD 3. Review the testing guidelines for select tumor types 4. Discuss the use of precision medicine for the identification of patients with HRD
