Emerald Ballet Theatre Presents Fairy Doll & Don Quixote Suite
Under the artistic direction of Viktoria Titova, Emerald Ballet Theatre is excited to present two charming ballets in one performance: Fairy Doll and Don Quixote Suite.
FAIRY DOLL
This simple yet magical one-act ballet takes place in a toy shop. During the day, the shopkeeper enjoys showing off his eclectic dolls to customers. When night falls, the dolls come to life on their own; the most mesmerizing one of all is the Fairy Doll.
Music by Joseph Bayer. Choreography by Roman Zinovyev after Nicholas and Sergey Legat and Konstantin Sergeyev.
DON QUIXOTE SUITE
Inspired by Cervantes' famous novel, this comedic and heart-warming ballet features a colorful cast of adventurous characters, including Spanish sweethearts Basilio and Kitri, and Don Quixote, a romantic and literary soul. Our abridged version includes the Dream Scene, Tavern Scene and The Wedding.
Music by Ludwig Minkus. Choreography by Roman Zinovyev after Marius Petipa and Alexander Gorsky.
Box office will open at 1:00 p.m. Festival seating begins at 1:30 p.m.
Parking is free at the Northshore Performing Arts Center.

Coming to the show? We have a special event planned just for your little dancers at heart. Children are invited to dress up and bring their favorite doll. Enjoy a complimentary juice box and cookies. Take pictures with performers. Learn about the story of Fairy Doll and basic theater etiquette. Go on a brief tour of backstage and observe behind-the-scenes action before the show.
A ticket to the performance is required to attend.
