DICK CAVETT is a three-time Emmy winner and host of "The Dick Cavett Show" late-night on ABC, on PBS, the USA network and on CNBC. His shows were hailed for their wide variety of guests, its frequent controversy, and Cavett's ability to attract "ungettable" guests. His most recent book, "TALK SHOW" is a collection of his blogs written for his online New York Times column of the same name.
MARIO CANTONE is a celebrated New York stage actor and stand-up comedian who gained critical acclaim with his Tony-nominated one-man show Laugh Whore, from its appearance at the Cort Theatre on Broadway to the Showtime special. He starred in the June release of Sony's animated film, Surf's Up, and appeared in the hilarious film The Aristocrats. On television, Cantone can currently be seen as Anthony, Charlotte's wedding-planner-with-attitude, now that HBO's Sex and the City is in syndication on TBS, as well as the Sex and the City movie franchise. On Comedy Central, Cantone's performances have been featured on The USO Comedy Tour, Chappelle's Show, and various other network specials.
EDDIE BRILL is a well respected and very funny stand up here in the USA and abroad. For the past sixteen years and counting, he has worked on The Late Show with David Letterman. He is currently the audience warm-up and for eleven years he was the Stand Up Comedy Talent Coordinator. Eddie has taped more than 100 TV shows in six different countries...including ten appearances on The Late Show...and the FX hit series, "Louie." He has been seen in many films including, "30 Years To Life" with Tracy Morgan. A three-time MAC award winner for Outstanding Male Comic in NYC, Eddie is also the creative director of The Great American Comedy Festival which honors Johnny Carson in his hometown of Norfolk, NE...and is one of the talent coordinators of this year's premiere Woodstock Comedy Festival as well.
RICK OVERTON says he's "been doing standup comedy since before there were lockable steering columns on cars. Seriously." He also says he "believes that Comedy shares its roots with Country Western and The Blues because they're all just complaining to a rhythm." The Emmy-award winning comedy veteran has appeared on HBO, Showtime and in many roles including the Drake on Seinfeld and Pam's Dad on The Office. His credits include: The League, The Kroll Show, the Green Room with Robert Klein and Jonathan Winters, Groundhog Day, Soderberg's The Informant, Bad Teacher, Adult Swim's Children's Hospital, and ABC's Last Man Standing. Rick and currently has a popular podcast, Overview with Rick Overton, on iTunes.
HESTER MUNDIS is a multi-tasking author and humorist with more personas than Sybil and Anne Heche combined (but in a good way), Hester Mundis, former head writer for "The Joan Rivers Show," is a four-time Emmy nominee for Outstanding Achievement in Writing. She has written, co-written and ghost written articles, plays, screenplays, TV shows and 27 books, both fiction and nonfiction, under numerous pseudonyms, for numerous reasons, for numerous celebrities on subjects ranging from marriage, motherhood, and divorce to the joys of franchising brothels, the virtues of vitamins, and 101 ways to avoid reincarnation, to name just a few.
SCOTT ROGOWSKY is a former Onion writer and current ABC correspondent, in just two years has turned his grassroots late-night style talk show into one of the hottest tickets in New York City. Combining the traditional monologue, sketches, celebrity interviews, house band, and sidekick set-up with a fresh, millennial sensibility, Running Late with Scott Rogowsky is an experience that needs to be experienced to be experienced. Oh, and Scott's sidekick is his 64-year old dad, Marty.
ONASSIS originated as a house sketch team at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Onassis has gone on to win acclaim as one of the best comedy groups in New York City. They've also received national attention as winners of the Friars Club Best Sketch Team and as finalists in the NYTVF Comedy Central Short Pilot Competition. In addition to three year run at The Upright Citizens Brigade, Onassis has performed all over the country including San Francisco Sketch Fest, Los Angeles' Comedy Central Stages and the Out of Bounds Festival in Austin, TX.
THE BEATdown is a comedy rap battle duo, featuring Chris "Shockwave" Sullivan and Victor Varnado. Shockwave (Freestyle Love Supreme, The Electric Company) and Victor Varnado (Awkward Comedy Show, Tell Your Friends: The Concert Film!) host 5 of NYC's finest comedians and one audience volunteer in a freestyle rap face-off to the death. ADAM MAMAWALA is a 26-year-old comic based out of Hoboken, NJ. The winner of the 2007 New Jersey Comedy Festival and a semifinalist in the 2011 Boston Comedy Festival, Adam has headlined over 125 colleges across more than 30 states since fall of 2010. He performs regularly in NYC and co-produces a weekly Friday night show at Beauty Bar (near Union Square), and was recently chosen as one of Funny or Die's "Top 30 Under 30: Comedians to Watch".
AUDREY RAPOPORT is an actor, writer, and improviser. A native of Ulster County, NY, Audrey has performed with The Groundlings, Acme Comedy Theatre, and at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival. She has performed her own material in numerous shows, including Audrey Rapoport's Funny Stories Featuring James Judd ; 7 Sins; Va Va Voom!; Pinata; Heroine Addicts; and Girls' Club.
JAMES JUDD is a monologuist from New York City. He is the Artist in Residence at the All For One Festival. His new solo play Killer Quack will debut on November 3 and 9th at the Cherry Lane Studio Theater in Manhattan. He is a former member of The Groundlings and the New Face as the Hollywood Improv. He performed with local Audrey Rapoport in Funny Stories at Kleinhart Art Center in Woodstock.
RICH SHULTIS Although Rich now makes New York City his home, he is originally from Kingston, NY (the first capital of New York, if that means anything to you) where he grew up as a small town scurvy kid with eight brothers and two step sisters. Starting out at open mics in NYC and any other venue with a stage and a microphone (and some without either) that would allow him to perform, Rich quickly caught the eye of club managers, owners, booking agents and producers. In just a few short years he became a regular at most of the major NYC and Tri-State comedy clubs. He has also performed at venues throughout the country sharing the same stage with the likes of Jim Gaffigan, Dean Edwards, Ted Alexandro, Tom Shillue, Mike DeStefano, Rich Voss, Joey Gay, The "Reverend" Bob Levy and Dave Attell to name a few.
DAN METH is a cartoonist, animator, director, and writer. That is his real name. His is best known for the award-winning web series "The Meth Minute". He lives in New York City and the internet.
CLINT ALEXANDER has been working is casting for over a decade now with the bulk of his experience being in television. He is currently the Director of East Coast Casting for FOX, where he has worked for the past 8 years.
KATJA BLICHFELD is a twice Emmy-nominated casting director, best known for casting NBC's critically-acclaimed series 30 Rock. She also writes, directs, and produces the much buzzed-about web series High Maintenance. Katja has worked on major motion pictures, as well as numerous network television series, and spent several years in NBC's East Coast casting office casting series regulars for their pilots. In 2012, Katja teamed up with Jessica Daniels to form Blichfeld + Daniels Casting.
