This Spring Rapeteta Theatre Company will be producing our inaugural show Hurlyburly by David Rabe at HB Studio's iconic Playwrights Theatre in NYC (124 Bank Street). The show will premiere on April 29, 2020, under the direction of Pitr Strait, starring a diverse cast.
Mr. Rabe's play, written in 1984, is strikingly relevant in today's current national climate, which is why we feel it is essential to bring it to a new audience. This intense drama questions the responsibilities of those with power; it explores themes of sexuality and addiction and the temptation to choose success at the expense of human relationships.
