I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again...Again! With Tim Brooke-Taylor!
The classic BBC radio series returns...on stage...Roll up, Roll Up! Angus Prune OBE is back, with the Custard Pie of Radio Comedy.
Performed on stage in classic radio comedy style with live music and sound effects, The OFFSTAGE Theatre Group recreates the anarchic and deliciously surreal cult comedy show that laid waste to BBC Radio in the 1960s and 1970s.
Following on from their critically-acclaimed first tour, this second Greatest Hits compilation of original material and songs by Graeme Garden and Bill Oddie is a knockabout show celebrating the radio series that gave birth to The Goodies and Monty Python's Flying Circus - not to mention I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue.
Stand by for wicked parodies, glorious puns and silly ditties. It's full-frontal radio, live on stage - with the unmistakeable strains of the Angus Prune Tune (and the unavoidable smells of sing-a-long-a-gibbon-stuffing).
This is a chance to meet - or happily catch up with - much-loved characters first created by Tim Brooke-Taylor, John Cleese, Graeme Garden, Sir David Hatch, Jo Kendall and Bill Oddie. There will be a cameo from Tim Brooke-Taylor, one of the original cast members, at this performance.
Produced, Directed & Adapted by Barnaby Eaton-Jones Featuring Hannah Boydell, Barnaby Eaton-Jones, Ben Perkins and The Farrington Four (Andrew Farrington, Andy Rushton, Cath Thomas and Paul Wood).
