Roxie Rocks Chicago! In roaring twenties Chicago, Roxie Hart murders her boyfriend and convinces her husband, Amos, to take the rap... until he finds out he's been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to jail, Roxie and another "Merry Murderess," Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines. With the help of fast-talking lawyer, Billy Flynn, and the "fake news" media, Roxie and Velma ultimately join forces in search of the "American Dream": fame, fortune, and acquittal. This sharp-edged satire features a Razzle Dazzle score that sparked immortal staging by Bob Fosse.
This production of "CHICAGO - HIGH SCHOOL EDITION", is directed by Craig Howard, assisted by Royea Fox, with choreography by Katie Rogers, musical direction by Justin Bunselmeier and Stafford Hebert, costumes by April Nice and Royea Fox, makeup and hair by April Crain, technical direction by Larry Fox, and scenic, light, and sound design by Larry Fox and Steven Adkins.
