Lacy J Dalton Concert
Lacy J Dalton has one of the most instantly recognizable voices in music the woman People Magazine called "Country's Bonnie Raitt". When you listen to a Lacy J Dalton album, you're pulled in by the power and heart of this vocalist, as she brings each and every tune to life. Lacy's early influences were the classic country music of the 40's, 50's and 60's and later, the Folk and Rock sounds of writer/artists like Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and Fred Neil.
One of Lacy's passions is protecting the wild horses that still run free. In 2004, she co-produced her first Independent CD, "The Last Wild Place" with her long time band, The Dalton Gang. The CD evokes her love of wide open spaces and includes two poignant songs about horses, "She Could Run" and "Sanctuary".
Lacy's Americana sound is a great match for the warm resonance and friendly, down-home atmosphere of the Aromas Grange Hall. Join us for this special show featuring a mix of Lacy's hits and holiday favorites.
