Mansfield "Shawshank" Tour
Join us for a tour of The Ohio State Reformatory (OSR), also known as the Mansfield Reformatory. The prison was built between 1886 and 1910 and remained in operation until 1990, when a United States Federal Court ruling (the 'Boyd Consent Decree') ordered the facility to be closed. Mansfield was made famous as the location for the film The Shawshank Redemption. The tour includes: Deluxe round-trip motor coach transportation from Clawson, MI to the Mansfield Reformatory A 90-minute guided tour with a local expert 60 additional minutes after the guided tour to explore on your own After boarding the bus to return to Clawson the tour will stop for dinner The tour will leave at 9:00 am and return at approximately 8:00 pm
