UUCB Concerts for a Cause: Susan Werner (CANCELLED)

Susan Werner is a singer/songwriter, guitarist, and pianist who has been playing to sold-out audiences across the country for 20 years. Werner has produced twelve albums of songs that effortlessly slide between folk/rock, jazz, Tin Pan Alley to gospel, country, and pop, all delivered with sassy wit and classic Midwestern charm.
Renowned as a charismatic performer, shes known above all for challenging herself to conquer new styles every few years. She writes ambitious concept albums with subject matter and sounds to match. Her last 2 concept albums were inspired by her trips to Cuba and New Orleans.
Werner was featured as part of the next generation in Peter Paul and Marys PBS special. She has also performed on NPRs World Café, NPRs Mountain Stage, and displayed her considerable piano chops Marian McPartlands NPR Piano Jazz.
Adults: $25 in advance, $30 at the door.
Students and Children: $10
