The Jimmys

Over the past twelve years, The Jimmys have solidified their brand of Blues and R&B across the Midwest, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean. Led by multiple award-winning keyboardist/organist Jimmy Voegeli, the band has been named a "festival favorite" in numerous reviews and magazines. With Voegeli is an all-star rhythm section featuring:

Perry Weber, veteran blues guitarist/singer/songwriter
Chris Sandoval, longtime drummer with Tommy Castro
John Wartenweiler with his powerful bass lines and deep groove

Their unique sound is capped off with Wisconsin's best horn section. These three honed their skills over the years playing with the original Funky Drummer himself, Clyde Stubblefield:

Pete Ross, Saxophone, Mike Boman, trumpet and Joe Goltz, Trombone, combine 40+ years' experience touring the world with Clyde Stubblefield, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Youngblood Brass Band, B.B. King and his All Stars, and many others.
