Vampire Hookers presented by the Midnight Movie Mamacita
Review from 10K Bullets
Two sailors go looking for their friend who was last seen going into a cemetery with a prostitute.
*Vampire Hookers* was directed by Cirio H. Santiago whose other notable films include *T.N.T. Jackson, Ebony, Ivory, and Jade, Escape from Women's Hell Hole* and *Caged Fury*. *Vampire Hookers* was also released under the title *Cemetery Girls*. The plot for *Vampire Hookers* is simple and not hard to follow. Sure it is absurd story with horrible acting and awful dialog that tries to be funnier than it is, but this is all part of it's charm. John Carradine is cast as the lead vampire John Peter Richmond. His performance reminds me of the work that Bla Lugosi did with director Ed Wood. Despite all the things that are wrong with this film there are many things that work like Pavo, an Igor looking servant who helps the vampires. There is plenty to laugh at like Pavo's flatulent problem and the sailors hitting on some trannies. Ultimately *Vampire Hookers* is a bad film that can be fun if you go in with low expectations.
