It all started in 3rd grade, 1955, at the Bessemer School Elementary Talent Show.David sang a "top 40 hit" "Cindy Oh Cindy" and did Donald Duck imitations. As they say, the rest is history. His influences are many: Mexican and Latin folk music; Rock N Roll; Blues;Soul; Funk; and most recently, jazz.He has sung at many popular venues in the area including 13 Coins, The Cypress Room at the Westin, Egan's, and Tula's Jazz Club .On Friday, February 28th he will be singing with the Paul Miranda Trio at North City Bistro in Seattle.
Two years ago Scooter Clair sat in and sang a few songs at NCB. The audience loved her. She will be David's featured guest vocalist. She has played lead roles in musical theatre and is currently a member of the Roosevelt High School Jazz Choir. She's intelligent, lovely,talented and by the way, she is David's grandaughter.
