Sponsored By: CUMMING
Presented by: Dania Baba,PhD, PMP, CPHRC, LBBP
The majority of hospital transformation initiatives fail to fully realize stated objectives. Is there a way to stack the odds for greater success? Through a powerful case study, I will share the winning formula of agile strategies and the confluence of strong project management and insightful change management in moving a hospital from their current state to their desired future state, and will describe how a construction project led the way to operational transformation. The combination of strategies will be shared and includes the use of practical tools and managerial techniques that can be applied to increase their odds of success in any number of initiatives.
Learning Objectives:
1. Design a transformational plan and a balanced scorecard to meet organizational strategy and objectives for a new facility.
2. Apply lean thinking and integrated management approaches to reach the desired future state.
3. Design a transition plan by gathering and developing internal capabilities to build synergy and resilience and maximize resources and outcomes.
4. Apply transition management and project management skills to drive change, engagement, and innovation.
