Picturing Change
Picturing Change is ART WORKS Projects' annual photo auction and event. It is our yearly chance to celebrate global collaborations for human rights during an evening of lively conversation, celebratory music, delicious food, and powerful imagery that we believe can change the world.
The 2013 Picturing Change theme is Uncommon Beauty. The collection, curated by Molly Roberts, Chief Photography Editor, Smithsonian Magazine, features images from our collaborators' world travels that demonstrate the visual beauty found around the globe and right here at home. Many of these photos are taken by photographers who spend much of their lives documenting our most challenging human rights crises making their observations even more surprising and powerful.
Proceeds from the event and auction help fund our work using design and the arts to raise awareness of and educate the public about significant human rights issues around the world.
