Church of Beethoven Oak Park presents Nine Worlds Ensemble
The Church of Beethoven, Oak Park celebrates the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven's birth with a brand new location! Welcome to the International Mansion in Oak Park. A 75-seat concert hall with a concert grand piano will delight and charm our audience.
We are delighted to bring back the Nine Worlds Ensemble in a program inspired by Norse mythology.
Nine Worlds Ensemble is a new approach to chamber music. With backgrounds in classical, jazz, pop, rock, and more, Nine Worlds brings a diverse approach to music performance. This approach to music results in the groove of pop music, the improvisation of jazz, the complexity of world music, and the sensitivity and emotionality of classical music.
Equally comfortable in the club as the concert hall, the mission of Nine Worlds is to bring their eclectic brand of chamber music to a wide variety of venues and listeners while breaking the mold of expectations in chamber music.
Nine Worlds released "The Seasons" double album in 2017. It is a 2-hour whirlwind of music inspired by the four seasons. You can get your copy of it on CdBaby or iTunes or listen on Spotify.
