Planet 'B'
Come and explore our planet!
The climate crisis has concentrated our minds wonderfully, and there are many things that can be done - technological fixes, like solar power and wind turbines; and many small-scale enterprises will help. Join us for talks, games and other activities relating to this beautiful planet we call home. We will find out problems and issues that the Earth is facing and ways to help protect it.
Brighton Science Festival will have all sorts of interactive activities including the Ice Cube Challenge, and Nick Rouse will be discussing solar power and all things sustainability. Other guests will include Extinction Rebellion, Marine Conservation Society, and all together we will be giving you:
building a wind turbine workshop,
investigating solar panels,
harnessing the power of water,
discovering how to insulate a house,
understanding biodiversity and human impact on the environment.
Our mission is to make all science entertaining, including climate change. Suitable for all ages.
11.00am - 4.00pm all day drop in. £3 (free for under 5s).
