Live at Studio5: LUCIANO ANTONIO QUARTET

We always look forward to the return of Luciano Antonio to our stage. Performances by this extraordinary Brazilian guitarist/vocalist explore the rich melodic, harmonic and rhythmic vocabularies employed by the delicious music of his homeland, and range from simple solo guitar pieces to dynamic, percussive arrangements with the entire ensemble. Luciano released two albums of original music, "Vida De Artista" (An Artist's Life) in 2011, and "Sem Palavras" (Without Words) in 2015. In 2019 he released his third album: "Luciano Antonio Quintet - Live At Jazz Showcase" (w/special guests Breno Sauer and Neusa Sauer). Luciano is a sweet, gentle soul, and his spirit flows directly through his beautiful music. He has absolutely placed an important stamp on the Brazilian music scene in Chicago.
