Picture a cartoon roller coaster cruising around its highest corner on two wheels. Thats a Rock Rx show. Buckle in, hands in the air, and get ready for a hair-raising ride! Like a streaker at a sporting event, you wont be able to take your eyes off this high-energy cover band. They make the audience feel like they are part of the band..literally. Dont be surprised if you have a mic in your face during the show, as you sing along to one of your favorite
songs.
Rock Rx splashed onto the Kalamazoo music scene in early 2019. They are in full cannonball mode now, packing every venue they have booked. Rock Rx truly is your rock prescription. You will be singing and dancing along to crowd favorites from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. The band is made up of three drug dealers (legal ones, in the pharmaceutical business)Dan Aaberg (vocals), Quentin Hunt (lead guitar), and Dave Osborne (drums),
and rounded out with Kirsten Overhiser (vocals), Jim Ohrt
(keyboard/vocals), and Alan Smith (bass guitar).
Does Rock Rx have the most talented vocalists and musicians you have seen in a cover band? Nope. Will you leave saying, that was awesome? Yep. This band has something for everyone. Come check them out, as a fun time is a straight up guarantee!
