Transformative Accountability
Transformative Accountability
Sunday, June 7th 9am-5:30pm
Consent Culture is growing and evolving in many ways. With more people speaking out about their experiences, how do we react? How do we hold those involved accountable? This workshop addresses those questions and more. Designed specifically for leadership or people supporting others in crisis, this workshop will go deep on secondary trauma, how to prevent retraumatizing those involved in a consent incident, report taking, and how to design an accountability process that makes sense for you and your organization. We all make mistakes, but it's the outcome that makes a difference
Prerequisites: Completion of Consent for Leadership or permission from the instructor. Details: Workbooks will be provided. All sexes, genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations, relationship orientations welcome and celebrated. Please bring: a lunch and journal to take notes. SEC is offering this workshop for a sliding scale. Please sign up at the amount that is available for you. Supporting - $75 Sustaining - $50 Supported - $25
SEC is honored to host the Consent Academy for a series of day-long workshops in 2020. Anyone is welcome to join and registration is offered at a sliding scale. We strongly encourage our Leadership and Facilitators to join any or all of the workshops so we can be building our collective capacity. Part of the intention for these workshops is to build capacity for our new SEC Restorative Team. If you are interested in joining, please contact mark@questionproject.org or talk with Keeley OConnell or Mark Davis. We ask anyone on our new Restorative Team to attend at least one (ideally more!) of these workshops. They are Consent Advocate Training, Consent for Leadership and Transformative Accountability.
