Beyond Standard Jazz includes renowned bassist Jeff Chambers, keyboardist Steve Carter, Trumpeter/Percussionist Rich Armstrong and drummer Rob Rhodes. Mary Jenson released her second album in January 2011 at Yoshi's Jazz Club in Oakland. Beyond was inspired by the dream state, a human condition of vulnerability and wonder. This collection of originals, contemporary covers and beautiful Jazz standards is featured in Mary's live performances that have thrilled and delighted audiences in the Bay Area.
