Flamenco Night at the Sound Room

This will be a magnificent evening of passionate Flamenco music, song & dance. David McLean, an accomplished flamenco guitarist and composer, will be accompanied by flamenco dancers,Carola Zertuche and Stephanie Narvaez, with Roberto Zamora on vocals.

David McLean's musical wanderings converged in 1999 in Granada, Spain where he studied flamenco guitar, traditional dance and vocal accompaniment. Since moving back from Spain, David has performed in hundreds of flamenco shows, from local venues to stages throughout the United States and Europe.

Carola Zertuche, the Artistic Director for Theatre Flamenco of San Francisco, has received numerous nominations and awards for her talents and contributions to flamenco in the Bay Area. Carola teaches flamenco dance and performs internationally.

Stephanie Narvaez grew up in a family of flamenco artists and had been dancing all her life. She has toured with the major troupes and has settled in the Bay Area, where she performs regularly.

Roberto Zamora has been a performer of flamenco song and dance for 35 years. He has performed in Spain, Canada and throughout the U.S. with various companies.
