Read Us a Song (Part II)

Read us a song; a dramatic comedic reading competition featuring your favorite song lyrics is back! In this competition, youll perform an interpretation of a song you love, find entertaining, or just think is ridiculous. No music or singing of any kind will be allowed during the competition.

Competition description:
The competition is limited to 20 entrants.
Duets and group entrants are allowed.
Each entrant will have 2-3 minutes to perform a dramatic reading of a selection from a song.
Entrants will be ordered randomly.
Competitors may read their lyrics (from paper, a screen, etc). A printed copy is encouraged.
Competitors that sing, hum, or make remotely musical sounds will be immediately disqualified.
Performing the reading in character, or costume, is encouraged, but not required.
The winner will be selected town hall style by show-of-hands voting.
The winner will receive a mystery prize.
