Mardi Gras Fundraising Masquerade Gala
We're bringing New Orleans to town and it'll be as authentic as you can get!
Join us for this fundraising extravaganza featuring the sights, sounds and food from New Orleans - all in the ambiance of our beautifully transformed library.
Dance music by none other than the 6 piece Mumbo Jumbo Voodoo Combo - Canada's premier Mardi Gras band, great Cajun food by Ullrich's Catering, cash bar, special events (Photo Booth, Personalized Beatnik Poetry, New Orleans photo exhibit and you can even get your tea leaves read - just like a visit to NOLA!)
Dress is festive fancy and the amazing decor includes Mardi Gras beads and masks!
This fundraising evening is presented in partnership between the Arnprior & District Food Bank and the Library and all proceeds will be split between the two services.
We'll be rolling the library shelves to make room for 130+ guests. The acoustics are second to none and there will be a huge dance floor in the transformed space.
Doors open at 7:30; dancing starts at 8pm; sampling buffet rolled out around 9pm and special activities will run continuously throughout the evening.
There is no better way to beat those mid winter doldrums.
Only $50 per person for this fantastic evening in support of two local services and charitable tax receipts will be issued for eligible amounts (based on proceeds from ticket sales).
