Scary Cow Presents: Craft of Cinematography with Tom Krymkowski
Cinematography is as much an art as it is a science, but what exactly does a cinematographer do? What is their relationship to the director? What is the cinematographer's role in telling a story? Via screenings and discussion, this developing series focuses on the always evolving conversation of story, vision, technology, and how they all intertwine. Storytellers of all levels encouraged to attend.
This event is free for Scary Cow Members. Check portal calendar for discount code.
Tom Krymkowski has been a member of Scary Cow for four years and hasn't stopped working on films since he joined. He has worked on the crew of over 20 short films and two feature-length projects, most of the time behind the camera as operator or Director of Photography. Before he joined Scary Cow, Tom was an audio engineer for the BBC World Service, KQED-San Francisco, and WGBH-Boston among others. Now, he considers himself first and foremost a Cinematographer.
We are located off Market near Civic Center Bart. There is some street parking around, but taking public transportation is recommended.
