George is a successful New York novelist, and a recent widower. His brother, Leo, keeps fixing him up with disastrous blind dates. Leo runs into his former girlfriend, Faye, and meets her friend, Jeannie, an actress and recent divorcee. Jennie seems perfect for George and the two manage to bring Jennie together. Things work out too well as the couple decides to marry after only two weeks. But loving each other may not be enough. When the past intrudes on the present, will the newlyweds be able to enjoy a happy marriage?
