Lunch with a Legend: Fashion Designer Zandra Rhodes
An exclusive opportunity to meet, mingle, and enjoy conversation with legendary British designer Zandra Rhodes, CBE. Dramatic, glamorous, extroverted in both her designs and her lifestyle, Rhodes has made an indelible mark on the international fashion world since her rise to the top echelon in the 1970s. She has designed for clients as diverse as Diana, Princess of Wales, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Elizabeth Taylor, Helen Mirren, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Freddie Mercury of the rock group Queen, and her clothing, accessories and makeup are sold in top stores and boutiques around the world. Since 2000, Rhodes' career has diversified into designing sets and costumes for the opera. She is a Commander of the British Empire and founder of London's Fashion and Textile Museum.
Award-winning chef Bryant Wigger created the luncheon menu which includes Neapolitan pizza made onsite at Pasadena's new American Italian restaurant. Tickets: Members $30; Non-Members $35.
