Ye Vagabonds in Concert
One Night Only! As part of their US & UK Winter Tour, Ye Vagabonds will perform their first Chicago show at Open Door's intimate space.
Brothers Brian and Diarmuld Mac Gloinn hail grew up playing music in their hometown of Carlow in the southeast of Ireland Their debut, self-titled album "Ye Vagabonds" is comprised of harmony-rich folk music, influenced by Irish traditional music, Appalachian singing, and the 1960's folk revival.
Their second album "The Hare's Lament" was released in March 2019 to critical acclaim, winning the BBC Radio Two Folk Award for Best Traditional Track and they swept the boards at the RTE Radio One Folk Awards where they won Best Traditional Track, Best Group and Best Album.
They are incredibility excited to perform their first show in Chicago at Open Door Theater's intimate space.
