MAX BESSESEN QUARTET + RON MILES - A BLUESTEM JAZZ PRESENTATION
Max Bessesens distinct sound and personal melodies have taken him across five continents and earned him accolades from Downbeat Magazine, Jazziz Magazine and the Frank Huntington Beebe Fund. In this quintet he joins veteran Cornetist Ron Miles and fellow Chicago musicians Nathan Friedman, Eric Krouse and Ethan Philion to explore forward-thinking original compositions. Their debut album Trouble (Ropeadope Records) will be released May 1st 2020.
