Performers:

Frankly Yours: I started off as a child some (*mumbles behind hand*) years ago and have never actually grown up. Singing was as natural as walking (I actually sing better than I walk), and I got my first paying vocal gig as a 10 year old boy soprano, singing The Lord's Prayer at a Masonic installation. These types of gigs came frequently until my voice had the unmitigated gall to change. When "Tenordom" settled in, the gigs continued for a while until I became an un-cute great sounding Baritone. Since that time my voice has done me very well  singing with jazz bands large and small, in Revue shows, Dinner Theatre, big stage Musicals (far too many to mention), voice over work, and numerous Emcee gigs. My first vocal hero was the great Al Jolson  man what an entertainer! Second was Paul Robeson (I still like to pretend I can do justice to "My Little Black Dove") and third was the Chairman of the Board  Old Blue Eyes  Frank Sinatra. This man could do it all show tunes, patriotic songs, and of course how he could swing! Through all his eras he was the best! As I gravitated to the Sinatra musical literature, people would remark  "Man you sound just like the young Sinatra". Later it became  "Man you sound just like Sinatra". I still get that one and also a new one  "Man you sound just like an OLDER Michael Buble". Hey, I'll take what I can get! Now I am translating my love for the music of Sinatra  in his style  to the public at large. www.franklyyours.ca
