Event
Cancelled: Films That Matter
Due to the pandemic, Films That Matter has been cancelled.
With the Safe Start Washington guidelines, as well as the CDC's guidelines in mind, we made this decision with an abundance of caution for our staff, volunteers, and event attendees.
Know that both Harbor WildWatch and WSU Kitsap County Extension explored digital alternatives for Films That Matter. The intention of this event was a community gathering, celebrating environmental films and local organizations. We worked hard to try and find a way to bring both films to attendees digitally, through Zoom or link sharing, and create a digital version of this community space. As we're sure many of you are feeling right now, digital alternatives are an experience in themselves and tend to be different from the real, in-person gatherings. In the end, sharing these videos digitally with a large group just wasn't possible due to film rights and situational changes with the pandemic.
