Winner of two academy awards and oft referred to as "the greatest of all Dickens' films", Great Expectations is the story of Pip, an orphan who discovers an anonymous patron has provided with a substantial income, Pip sets out for the life of a young gentleman. It is a dramatic story of ethics, love, the struggle between living for something imagined and actually living and is full of surprising revelations.
