Le Jazz Hot at the White Barn
Catch this lively group as it kicks off its 30th year of performing gypsy jazz, the genre born in the cafes and nightclubs of Paris is the 1930s and '40s. Le Jazz Hot, led by guitarist Paul Mehling, takes a swing-or-die approach to the music thats distinctly American. He is joined by vocalist/guitarist Isabelle Fontaine, violinist Evan Price, guitarist Jordan Samuels, and bassist Sam Rocha. Together, they'll heat up the Barn with the compositions of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli in a concert that promises to shake off midwinter's chill.
