Managing the California Consumer Protection Act DSARS
On January 1st, 2020 the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) came into effect. Taking the lead from the EUs General Data Protection Regulation, the new CCPA is being viewed as the template for state data privacy regulations moving forward. This CLE will address how automation can help reduce the burden of consumer privacy data subject access requests (DSARs) and implement a management process for cost, resource, and risk reduction. This program is for data privacy practitioners within every organization, legal, and compliance, who are interested in gaining insight as well as practical information about the ongoing conversation surrounding the new California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements.
