This course will expand the designer's lighting vocabulary and explain how using layers of light to illuminate a space can help to define the intended usage. Attendees will better understand how light can shape our perception of a space.
1. Recognize Richard Kellys Three Fundamental Principles of Light
2. Identify lighting by a classification system
3.Employ lighting vocabulary to describe the effects perceived or intended
4.Use layers of light to create balanced lighting compositions
