Six Characters in Search of an Author
SIX CHARACTERS IN SEARCH OF AN AUTHOR Adapted by Steve Moulds From the play by Luigi Pirandello
Originally written and performed in 1921, SIX CHARACTERS IN SEARCH OF AN AUTHOR is an Italian play by Luigi Pirandello. This absurdist metatheatrical play explores the relationship among authors, their characters, and theatre practitioners. A private viewing of a rehearsal takes an unexpected turn when six strange characters show up in search of an author. Left unfinished by their creator, they seek someone to finish their stories for them.
