Kinfolk/Midnight Glow is a collaborative performance work exploring the ideas around race,ancestry, linage, breathe, process around collecting gathering to inform cultural or communal knowledge through the lens of Blackness. Using embodiment as an activation of flesh to reach an otherwise possibilities and or transformation. Inspired by Black Pentecostal practices of the early 1900s in Los Angeles and how these aesthetic practices allow for the emergence of alternative modes of social organization.
